JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

 

 

Ponleur Kumar (PK) is a non-political, non-partisan, non-religious, non –profit and grassroots organization strive to empower poorest of poor household, most vulnerable individual, household and communities to fulfill their rights through identify and address the root cause of vulnerability and poverty; and strengthening organizational and institutional capacities in the northwestern border provinces of Pursat , Battambang and  Banteay Meanchey in Cambodia . We’re now seeking to both qualified candidates as following position:

 

1.  Administrative and Finance Officer (1 position in Pursat Province) Salary: US$ 469 month plus other benefits.

Main responsibilities:

  • Maintain uniform personnel policies for the organization and ensure that all project staff is informed and are observing these policies and procedure.
  • Identify and monitor staff training needs, facilitate and oversee the development implementation of staff training activities, provide monitoring support.
  • Develop and maintain the filling system in computer and cabinet
  • Provide general clerical, logistical and administrative support to the project on time
  • Set up and maintain administrative systems and procedure of the project include files and records.
  • Facilitate with project assistant and project officer to prepare periodic detail budget (annual budget, revised budget and quarterly budget) to the provincial coordinator and executive director for approval before implementation and accounts of the project recording to the general PK guideline.
  • Carry out other tasks in relation to finance and administration, and as mutually agreed with the project officer and provincial coordinator that based on quarterly approval of executive director.
  • Maintains a uniform financial system the renders possible continuous internal evaluation, examination and control of their project.
  • Responsible for proper spending of funds allocated to the project according to PK guidelines for purchase of materials and equipment, etc.
  • Prepares all accounts for annual external audit.
  • Prepare periodically financial statement, budget control and consolidate the whole financial report of PK organization.

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor degree Accountant or relevant field.
    • Cambodia of both male and female national, age between 28 and 45 years old.
    • At least 3 years experiences with NGOs in the relevant area
    • Training skill and conduct participatory training
    • Working as a team and management
    • Good English language skill and computer skill (MS word & Excel, Quick book 2010)
      • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
